Renny Kodgers

"I, Señor Kodgers plan to demonstrate to the honorable folk of Junee what bein country is all about. How will I do this might you ask? Well, through the two mediums that I know best, my body and my song."

Renny Kodgers is the glamorous southern gent who has been entertaining audiences in Sydney and Melbourne for over ten years. Best described by John Waters as “the love child of Willie Nelson and Carlotta” his performances dynamically combine the best of southern hospitality with the brashness of a Sydney summer. He has been a mainstay on Sydney’s underground cabaret and performance art scene, enthralling audiences with his invective humour and dulcet tones. You might have caught him at Club 34b, The Oxford Art Factory, The Red Rattler or Performance Space at Carriageworks. He has also thrilled punters at The Biennale of Sydney and at the music festivals Parklife and Field Day. He currently hosts The Renny Kodgers Quiz Hour on FBI radio 94.5, Sydney every Wednesdays from 12 - 1pm. Those who have been lucky enough to see Renny Kodgers live, hold the memory in their hearts and their loins forever!
